Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX, seeks a Senior Power & Analog Design Engineer for an onsite role. You will design and analyze power conversion circuits, lead tests, and collaborate with ECAD teams to ensure robust PCB layouts.

This role requires a DoD Secret clearance and will support defense missions. Applicants should have 5+ years in analog/power electronics, strong simulation skills (MATLAB, SIMPLIS, SABER), and experience with circuit topologies such as buck, boost, and buck-boost.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Experience with analog power converter design and associated topologies.
• Proficient in circuit analysis, testing, and simulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, test, and documentation of analog and power conversion circuit cards.
• Define circuit card architec ture and oversee integration and verification.
• Collaborate with ECAD drafters on layout and stackup, routing activities.
• Plan schedules and drive execution within budget and timeline.
• Provide product test and troubleshooting support and root cause investigations.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead small teams.
