Job summary
Raytheon Technologies in North Texas is seeking a Senior Power & Analog Design Engineer to join our MPD team onsite in McKinney, TX. You will design analog and power conversion circuit cards, lead tests, and collaborate with ECAD drafters to define layouts and verification plans.
You will work with advanced power electronics, transformer/inductor design, and tools such as SIMPLIS, SABER, and Siemens Xpedition.
Qualifications
- Must have STEM degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Design, analysis, test, and/or simulation experience with non-isolated converter topologies (buck/boost/buck-boost).
- Experience with analog electronics design (FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters, termination, comparators).
- Experience with MATLAB/MathCAD/Mathematica or similar tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, analysis, test, and documentation of analog and power conversion circuit cards.
- Define circuit card level architecture and oversee ECAD layout through stackup, routing, and verification.
- Plan and execute integration and verification activities in engineering labs.
- Provide product test and troubleshooting support and root-cause analysis.
