Job summary

RTX, in its Airborne Antenna Department, seeks an electrical engineer for McKinney, TX, onsite. The role focuses on power systems, conversion, distribution, and control, requiring a DoD security clearance and hands‑on lab experience.

You will troubleshoot production equipment, analyze data, and collaborate with engineers to deliver robust, compliant designs. Ideal candidates have a STEM degree and 2+ years of related experience, with LTSPICE/MATLAB skills and the ability to support DoD program

Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor’s in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience in power system design, power conversion, power distribution, power sub-system design and/or control systems.
Experience in modeling and simulation using LTSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Provide second-level troubleshooting of Production Test Equipment and Deliverable Hardware.
Analyze test data to identify failure trends and perform root-cause analysis and corrective action.
Collaborate with engineers to develop proven designs based on performance and specifications.
Support design, simulation, testing, and documentation of power system, conversion, distribution, or control products.
