Job summary

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Powder Coat Prep Associate for the first shift in the Gahanna, Ohio area. This is a full time, contract to direct hire position.

Responsibilities include taping/masking parts, using an Exacto knife, loading/unloading conveyors, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must read drawings and work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing parts for coating.
• Experience in a manufacturing/job shop environment.
• Ability to read prints/schematics accurately.
• Ability to follow and retain instructions.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

• Taping/masking parts with heat-resistant tape;plugging/capping.
• Use of Exacto knife and fine manual skills.
• Attention to detail and information retention.
• Loading/unloading conveyor line; physically able to meet demands: stretching, reaching, bending, twisting, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; average part weight is 1-20 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Familiarity with hand tools; ISO knowledge is helpful.
