Job summary

Twin City Powder Coating LLC is seeking motivated material handlers and pre-treat technicians for a fast-paced shop floor. You will hang parts, inspect finishes, and assist with shipping and forklift tasks as needed.

We offer a flexible schedule, competitive pay, benefits including health insurance and paid time off, and opportunities to grow in a busy powder coating operation. First shift 6am-2:30pm, second shift 12pm-10:30pm; overtime available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• General knowledge of hand tools.
• Able to work in a team or independently.
• Comfortable in hot environments.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Hang metal parts of various sizes on rolling carts using appropriate hooks.
• Safely lift finished products and prepare for packing.
• Package painted parts to protect finish during shipping.
• Visually inspect all parts for paint finish quality.
• Assist with forklift driving as needed on the shop floor.
• Support other areas to maintain workflow and speed.
• Keep tool carts, work area and floor clean and organized.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Are you looking for a fast paced and friendly work environment? Twin City Powder Coating is now hiring ALL Shifts for MATERIAL HANDLERS and Powdercoat Pre-Treat positions.

First Shift : 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday

Second Shift: 12pm - 10:30pm Monday - Friday

Shift may vary depending on workload. Overtime available during busy times.

Job Duties include:

• Use appropriate size hook to safely hang metal parts of various sizes and weights on rolling carts.
• Use proper lifting techniques to safely take down finished products.
• Take down painted parts and use proper packaging materials to ensure finished products are protected for shipping.
• Visually inspect all parts for flaws in the paint finish.
• Assist with any fork lift driving that may be needed.
• Assist other areas of the shop floor to help maintain proper work flow.
• Clean and organize tool carts.
• Clean, organize and maintain shop floor.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Lift 50lbs consistently for entire shift.
• General knowledge in the use of hand tools.
• Be comfortable working in both a team and individual setting.
• Comfortable working in a hot environment.
• Meet and exceed strict production deadlines.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Excellent attendance is a must.
