Job summary

Anchor Fabrication is seeking a Powder Coater to apply powder coating to products within a fabrication shop environment. You will operate spraying equipment, wear protective gear, and ensure coatings meet specifications while maintaining a clean, efficient workspace.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to follow customer specs and mil ranges. It offers daily hands-on manufacturing work in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing industry preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of powder coating or qualifying experience preferred.
• Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance.

• Work under the direction of the department Lead or supervisor to assist with daily operations.
• Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment.
• Powder Coater needs to be able to hit the necessary mil range per powder or customer spec.
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the powder guns
• Uses protective equipment when necessary, following all safety procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Powder Coater's role is to apply powder coating to products. They will perform targeted and detailed work using a spraying apparatus and wearing protective equipment to ensure products are coated correctly to meet specifications. They are highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. Environment/Physical Requirements with or without Accommodation:

This position is carried out in a fabrication shop environment and as such has the following physical work requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.


• Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.


• Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping.
