Job summary

FUJIFILM Biosciences in Santa Ana, CA, is hiring a Powder Formulation Technician to formulate powdered media and support manufacturing operations on the 3rd shift.

You will use weighing scales, SAP ERP, and Mettler-Toledo IND780 to ensure correct materials and batch records, while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in related fields, knowledge of cGMP, good English, and strong metric system skills; onsite role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Solid understanding of the metric system and unit conversions.
• Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Background in medical devices, diagnostics, food/vitamin processing, or pharmaceuticals.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Formulates powdered media formulas per manufacturing protocols using scales and balance.
• Uses weighing systems and SAP ERP to ensure correct raw materials in batch records.
• Suggest improvements to SOPs and document line clearances at formulation start.
• Maintain logs, proper chemical labeling, and organized work areas.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and safety procedures and PPE are followed.
• Understand metric conversions and participate in 6S program.
