Job summary

FUJIFILM Biosciences in Santa Ana, CA, seeks a Powder Milling & Cleaning Tech to operate milling systems and perform line clearances and sampling. You will work with SAP and Mettler-Toledo to ensure accurate batch records, maintain logs, and handle chemicals safely in a cGMP environment.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of hands-on experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or pharma, solid English skills, and good communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Background in medical devices, diagnostics, food/vitamin processing, or pharmaceuticals.
• 1-2 years of hands on experience.
• Working knowledge of metric system.
• Good understanding of cGMPs.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operates milling systems such as impact, ball and jar mills as well as blenders.
• Uses SAP ERP and Mettler-Toledo IND780 terminal system to ensure batch records are weighed correctly.
• Performs line clearance at the start of each milling event.
• Obtains proper samples and forwards to QC as required.
• Keeps logs and associated documentation up to date.
• Maintains proper storage and labeling of chemicals.
• Follows safety procedures and uses PPE.
• Follows procedures to ensure chemicals are handled properly.
