Job summary

FUJIFILM Biosciences is hiring a Powder Milling & Cleaning Tech in Santa Ana, CA. The role focuses on milling powdered media and cleaning equipment to support life sciences manufacturing.

The position runs 2nd shift (1:00pm-9:30pm) and requires adherence to GMP, safety, and quality standards. The candidate should have 1–2 years of hands-on experience, a high school diploma, and familiarity with cGMP practices.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.
• Background in medical devices, diagnostics, or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
• Good understanding of cGMPs and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate milling systems (impact, ball, and jar mills) and large volume blender.
• Record weights using Mettler-Toledo IND780 with SAP ERP batch records.
• Perform line clearance at milling start and obtain QC samples as required.
• Maintain logs and ensure proper chemical storage and labeling.
• Assist in updating SOPs and ensure supply levels are adequate.
• Adhere to 6S program and safety procedures in the work area.
