Job summary

Sunrise Medical in Mt Juliet, TN is seeking an entry-level painter to paint a variety of parts in accordance with work instructions, and to ensure compliance with QSR.

The role involves painting, detailing, inspecting parts, following Kanban and safety guidelines, and cross-training across stations. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of powder coat experience are desired. This is a full-time position with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience with batch booth powder coat applications (1 year preferred).
• Experience with wet coating of plastic parts preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and work orders in English.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow written and diagrammed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Paint and process a variety of parts per specifications and work instructions.
• Detail parts and inspect after the paint process, with documentation.
• Follow department procedures, Kanban, scrap/reprocessing, and work instructions.
• Report on scrap, safety, and training matters.
• Train and learn multiple work stations per guidelines.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards and perform preventive maintenance.
