B&B Metal Designs LLC in Tennessee seeks a Powder Coater to join our production team. You will prepare metal parts, apply powder coatings, and ensure durable finishes meet quality standards.

Operate electrostatic spray equipment and curing ovens, inspect coated products, maintain tools and PPE, and assist with other production duties in a fast-paced facility. We emphasize safety, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in powder coating, painting, manufacturing, or related production environment preferred.
• Familiarity with powder coating equipment, spray techniques, and curing processes.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, specifications, and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal parts for powder coating by cleaning, media blasting, sanding, masking, and inspecting surfaces.
• Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment to achieve consistent coverage and finish quality.
• Operate curing ovens and monitor temperatures and curing times to ensure proper coating adhesion.
• Inspect coated products for quality, color consistency, thickness, and defects before final approval.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of powder coating equipment, spray guns, and work areas.
• Maintain inventory of coating materials and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishing.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Assist with other production duties as assigned.
