Job summary

Strong Hold in Louisville, KY is seeking a Powder Coat Painter for 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00am–4:30pm) to apply protective coatings and paint on manufactured products. You will prepare surfaces, mix paints to specifications, and ensure coating thickness and adhesion while maintaining equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of industrial or powder coat painting experience.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with industrial paint machinery and understanding of coatings.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials.
• Ability to work in a high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, blasting, and degreasing for paint adhesion.
• Mix, match, and apply paints, epoxies, urethanes, or powder coatings with spray equipment, brushes, or rollers.
• Set up and operate coating systems, spray guns, and paint booth systems where applicable.
• Inspect finished products to ensure coating thickness and color meet specifications.
• Maintain clean equipment and follow PPE, ventilation, and safety regulations.
