Powder Coater/Painter - Hamilton

Job Department:

Barfield Product Line

Shift:

1st Shift: 6am - 4pm (Monday-Thursday, OT possible on Fridays)

Job Summary:

The individual will powder coat a wide range of products. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified powder coater to work with a great company that offers excellent benefits. Job Qualifications:

• Relevant work experience in painting, powder coating, or completion of trade school
• Ability to perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate the powder coat system, including loading powder, spraying, hanging, and un-hanging products, and operating ovens
• Set up the powder coating process, including changing powders and adjusting the powder gun
• Ensure conformance to quality specifications
• Assist others with powder coating, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities
• Help train others on operation and setup of powder coating equipment

Preferred Skills:

• Detail-oriented with a focus on producing quality work
• Mechanically inclined, comfortable with tools and machinery, and adaptable to repairs
• Proficient in standard math for machine adjustments
• Strong reasoning skills to make decisions and overcome obstacles
