Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Powder Coat Technician to prepare, coat, and finish metal parts in an industrial setting. The role requires 1+ years of powder coat experience and a high school diploma or GED, with the ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of powder coat experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prep, coat, and finish metal surfaces using powder coating techniques.
• Operate Graco spray system and maintain coating equipment.
• Inspect finished parts for thickness, color, and absence of defects.
• Perform daily checks, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
• Assist with 5S and cleaning procedures and support team as needed.
