Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Powder Coat Operator to prepare components for coating, load and unload parts, and support the powder coating process from cleaning to curing. You will operate guns, hoppers, and booth systems, inspect coatings, and maintain equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading drawings, BOMs, and basic computer skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate instructions clearly.

Qualifications

• Basic reading of drawings and BOMs is required.
• Must have basic computer skills and good communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload parts on fixtures and prepare for coating.
• Operate coating equipment and monitor gauges.
• Bake/cure parts within specified times and temperatures.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and document production actions.
• Train others and communicate across the team.
