Job summary

Tyson Foods in Waldron, AR is seeking a Tech Advisor Breeder I for the 1st shift to support poultry growers with health, welfare, and flock performance. You will advise on housing, litter, sanitation, feed and lighting programs, and monitor bird health, coordinating with hatchery, feed mill, vaccination crews, and live-haul teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally (1 to 5 trips per year).
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, approximately 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Advises growers on housing, equipment, litter management, sanitation, flock management, feed and lighting programs, bird health monitoring, and production performance.
• Coordinates bird placements, sample collection, catch schedules, and communication between growers and company operations teams such as hatchery, feed mill, vaccination crews, and live-haul.
