Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring a Poultry Producer Support contact in Waldron, AR, to provide technical guidance to growers on housing, litter, sanitation, flock management, and bird health. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 1 year in poultry operations, and be available for an early morning weekday schedule with some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally (1 to 5 trips per year).
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, approximately 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary support contact for poultry producers, providing technical guidance on housing, equipment, litter management, sanitation, flock management, feed and lighting programs, and bird health monitoring.
• Coordinate bird placements, sample collection, catch schedules, and communications between growers and Tyson Foods operations teams (hatchery, feed mill, vaccination crews, live-haul).
• Ensure compliance with production contracts, USDA regulations, and Tyson Foods standards while helping producers achieve high-quality results at the lowest possible cost.
