Job summary

Pilgrim's in Laneville, TX is hiring for Production Hourly roles on the processing line. You will cut, trim, package, and inspect products to meet safety and quality standards, operate equipment, keep a clean area, and follow safety and biosecurity rules in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, poultry or food-industry experience is a plus, and strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience a plus.
• Multitask, good communication, follow simple instructions, team player.
• Physical: work in cool temperatures, stand 8-11 hrs, lift 50 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products using tools, labor, and equipment per USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and follow safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working at different production areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
