Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring for a Production Hourly role on our processing line. You’ll cut, trim, package, and inspect poultry products to meet strict food safety standards while operating equipment and maintaining a clean work area.

You’ll collaborate with teammates in a fast-paced environment that values safety and quality. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and the potential for poultry/food industry experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills: Ability to multitask and work quickly, good communication, follow simple instructions and be a team player.
• Physical requirements: Ability to work in cool temperatures (~40°F), stand 8–11 hours, lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products on the production line using tools and equipment per USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team members by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working in different production areas as needed.
