Job summary

Wayne Farms in Decatur, Alabama is seeking a Line Associate to join our poultry production team. The role involves disassembly of poultry and performing tasks on the line, rotating among duties such as debone or evisceration, while complying with company policies and USDA guidelines.

You will work in a wet, cold environment, wear required PPE, and follow safety protocols. Previous poultry experience is preferred but not required, and a high school diploma or equivalent is acceptable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous poultry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform production related tasks surrounding poultry processing such as debone or evisceration.
• Perform all duties in compliance with Company policies and procedures, agency guidelines (i.e. NCC Animal Welfare, U.S.D.A, etc.) and Federal, State and local legal requirements
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly at all times in areas requiring PPE helping to promote a zero accident culture
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned
