Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Line Associate to participate in poultry processing on the production line in Palestine, Texas. The role involves disassembly of poultry and rotation through tasks such as debone and evisceration, with focus on safety, PPE, and adherence to NCC Animal Welfare and USDA guidelines.

The position requires the ability to work non-standard shifts, including weekends and holidays, and may involve lifting up to 50 lbs in a wet, cold environment with animal odours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous poultry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Line Associate is responsible for the disassembly of poultry and may perform a wide variety of poultry processing related tasks as they rotate on the production line.
• Learn and perform production related tasks surrounding poultry processing such as debone or evisceration.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly at all times to promote a zero accident culture.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures, agency guidelines (NCC Animal Welfare, USDA, etc.) and Federal, State and local legal requirements.
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
