Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to lead production line personnel and ensure compliance with USDA, OSHA, HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and customer specifications in a fast-paced facility.

The role oversees up to 100 employees, drives safety, quality and productivity, and partners with Quality Assurance to maintain a food-safe environment while meeting production schedules and budgets. Strong leadership required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or poultry environment with leadership responsibility.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (USDA/OSHA/HACCP).

Responsibilities

• Supervise production line/department personnel to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate staff to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reports, attendance, yields and other metrics are recorded.
• Identify opportunities for throughput, waste reduction and quality improvements.
• Partner with QA to maintain a food-safe, sanitary environment per USDA.
• Mentor and train employees; administer performance actions as needed.
• Uphold safety initiatives and PPE usage; support cross-department goals.
• Learn and adhere to union contracts if applicable.
