Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring for a hands-on production role on the processing line. You’ll cut, trim, package, and inspect poultry to meet safety and quality standards while operating equipment and keeping a clean, safe workspace. The role rewards reliability with a base pay of $15.35/hour plus a $2.00 shift differential, plus an attendance incentive. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with some weekend work, and a benefits package after 60 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in poultry or food industry is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products using tools, manual labor, and equipment according to USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team members by sharing skills and knowledge while promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different areas of production as needed.
