Wayne Farms is seeking a supervisor to oversee broiler farms and act as the company representative to contracted growers. You will provide technical assistance, monitor house conditions, and offer recommendations to improve performance and reduce costs.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with experience in poultry operations and the ability to travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and experience; Associates required or Bachelors preferred.
• Two years poultry experience; knowledge of animal welfare and food production regulations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and math skills; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee broiler farms as Company representative to contracted growers and provide technical advice on expectations.
• Provide chick placement, catch and feed withdrawal times to growers.
• Monitor flocks and equipment to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Track bird mortality, report anomalies, and coordinate with personnel as needed.
• Maintain feed inventories and coordinate deliveries to growers in a timely manner.
• Promote safety initiatives and maintain a zero accident culture.
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
