Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a supervisor to oversee broiler farms, acting as the company representative to contracted growers. You will monitor house conditions, bird welfare, and provide technical assistance to improve performance and reduce costs.

The role requires experience in poultry farming, strong communication, and the ability to travel between locations. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate or Bachelor’s in poultry science is preferred, with safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates in Poultry Science or related field preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in live poultry production or farm supervision is required or strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand regulations related to animal welfare and food production.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Company and contract growers, providing technical advice on expectations and standards.
• Provide chick placement, catch and feed withdrawal times to growers.
• Monitor flock conditions and farmer compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Track mortality and report anomalies to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain feed inventories and coordinate timely deliveries to growers.
