Job summary

Wayne Farms seeks a supervisor to oversee broiler farms as a company representative to contracted growers. You will monitor house conditions and bird welfare, providing technical assistance and recommendations to improve performance and reduce costs for the company and growers.

Responsibilities include acting as liaison with growers, coordinating chick placement and feed, monitoring flocks, tracking mortality, maintaining feed inventories, and promoting a zero-accident safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years live poultry experience
• Knowledge of animal welfare and food production regulations
• Strong verbal and written communication in English

Responsibilities

• Oversee broiler farms as company representative to contracted growers
• Monitor house conditions and bird welfare; provide technical assistance and recommendations
• Act as liaison between Company and growers on building specs, litter, sanitation, biosecurity, and procedures
• Track flock performance, mortality, and report anomalies
• Maintain feed inventories and coordinate deliveries to growers, ensuring timely feed supplies
• Promote safety initiatives and uphold a zero-accident culture
