Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a Broiler Service Technician to support flock health, welfare, and performance in our poultry operations.

You will serve as the primary liaison with contract growers, monitor biosecurity and nutrition, and provide guidance to staff to maintain strong flock performance and meet production goals.

The role requires a BS in Poultry Science or related field, 2–5 years experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Poultry Science or related field preferred.
• Current driver's license with good driving record.
• 2–5 years of directly related experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; proficient in Microsoft Office; quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Company and contract growers.
• Monitor flock health and husbandry practices; provide recommendations.
• Track, record, and analyze flock data (mortality, feed, growth).
• Maintain feed inventories and coordinate feed orders.
• Ensure biosecurity and company protocol compliance; report issues.
• Provide training to growers and staff on best practices.
• Assist with chick placements and bird movements; proper scheduling.
• Prepare reports on flock performance and farm conditions for management.
