Pilgrim’s is hiring a Broiler Service Technician to support flock health, welfare, and performance in line with PPC standards. You will guide growers on best practices for bird management and biosecurity, and work with live production to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Poultry Science or similar field preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication and leadership skills.
• Solid math and analytical abilities for problem solving and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Pilgrim’s and contract growers.
• Monitor flock health and husbandry practices; provide recommendations.
• Track, record, and analyze flock data (mortality, feed, growth).
• Maintain feed inventories and coordinate feed orders.
• Ensure biosecurity and company protocol compliance; report issues.
• Provide technical guidance and training to growers and staff.
• Assist with chick placements and bird movements.
• Prepare reports on flock performance and farm conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
