Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Broiler Service Technician to support flock health, welfare, and performance in line with PPC standards. You will guide growers, manage biosecurity, and optimize bird management to meet production goals.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in Poultry Science or related field, 2–5 years of relevant experience, and strong communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis is preferred. This on-site role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science or similar field preferred.
• Experience 2–5 years in related role preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Pilgrim’s and contract growers.
• Monitor flock health and husbandry practices; provide recommendations.
• Track, record, and analyze flock data (mortality, feed, growth).
• Maintain feed inventories and coordinate feed orders.
• Ensure biosecurity and protocol compliance; conduct inspections.
• Provide technical guidance and training to growers and staff.
• Assist with chick placements and bird movements per standards.
• Prepare reports on flock performance and farm conditions.
