Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Broiler Service Technician to monitor mortality, feed conversion, sizing, and scheduling. You will collaborate with contract growers to improve bird performance and reduce costs for the company and growers.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in poultry science or related field and 2–5 years of related experience, plus a valid driver’s license. Duties include liaison with growers, mortality tracking, feed inventories, and potential staff training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in poultry science or related field.
• 2–5 years of directly related experience.
• Current driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Liaises between company and growers and provides recommendations.
• Monitors husbandry practices and makes improvement recommendations.
• Tracks, records, and analyzes bird mortality rates.
• Maintains feed tank inventories and orders feed as needed.
• May schedule and train other employees.
