Versova is seeking a Flock Specialist to support and maintain all aspects of the barns and ensure poultry health and welfare. You will follow USDA, FDA, SQF, and OSHA standards, performing a range of poultry-related tasks under supervision.

The role emphasizes working within a team, maintaining records, and performing routine maintenance in barns. The position requires lifting, walking, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in varying climate conditions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and welfare of poultry in barns.
• Check and maintain feeders and waterers.
• Clean poultry houses and equipment; manage records on flock metrics.
• Handle egg transfers and light maintenance around barns.
• Monitor lighting, ventilation, and general barn conditions.
• Catch loose birds and assist with routine tasks as needed.
