Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Broiler Field Representative in Alabama, supporting the Dothan area operations. You will oversee contracted growers, monitor house conditions and bird welfare, and provide technical guidance to optimize performance and cost efficiency.

The role requires strong communication, field coordination, and a proactive safety mindset in a fast-paced poultry environment, with travel between assigned sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; two years live poultry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of animal welfare and food production regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic math.
• Strong communication and customer service skills in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Company and contract growers providing technical advice on practices.
• Provide chick placement, catch and feed withdrawal times.
• Monitor flocks to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Track, analyze and report bird mortality and anomalies.
• Maintain feed tank inventories and coordinate deliveries.
• Follow and promote safety initiatives to maintain a zero accident culture.
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
