Job summary

Koch Foods is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee broiler farms and act as the liaison to contracted growers in Alabama. You will monitor house conditions, bird welfare, and grower performance while providing technical guidance to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient operations.

The role requires knowledge of live poultry health, strong leadership, and a customer-centric approach with a sense of urgency to meet company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Agricultural, Poultry or Animal Science or closely related field.
• Current and valid Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Knowledge of live poultry broilers and overall bird health.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements surrounding animal welfare and food production.
• Strong customer-centric attitude, high energy and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee broiler farms as a Koch Foods representative to contracted growers.
• Monitor house conditions and bird welfare; provide technical assistance and recommend improvements.
• Liaise between Koch Foods and contract growers; provide technical advice and communicate expectations.
• Monitor flock comfort, equipment settings, and grower compliance with policies and laws.
• Track, analyze and record bird mortality rates.
• Maintain feed tank inventories; order feed and coordinate deliveries.
• Maximize grower performance and ensure adherence to animal welfare laws.
• Share performance numbers with growers and review deficiencies.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
