Job summary

Cobb is hiring a Poultry Farm Worker for the Tennessee Pedigree Complex in Deer Lodge. The role involves cleaning and disinfecting poultry houses, moving birds, and maintaining farm equipment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00am–2:00pm, with benefits available and eligibility on day 1 of full-time hire. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with additional shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends; temp roles start at $16.90 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no gaps >6 months in past 36 months
• If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months
• Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days
• Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods
• Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview
• Applicants with prior agricultural or production experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect poultry houses and all equipment (including vehicles/tractors) using a commercial pressure washer on wet/slick floors
• Move birds as required to growing or live haul areas and ensure wingbands are removed before loadouts
• Maintain tractors, pressure washers, litter truck, trailers, and perform weekly maintenance safety checks
