Cobb Bear Hollow Farm is hiring a Poultry Selection Worker to assist in the selection process, handling birds, and maintaining animal welfare standards on site in Bear Hollow Farms. You will work a first shift with potential overtime based on production needs.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with additional shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Benefits are available from day one and include health, vision, dental, and 401K options.

Formación

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
• Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days, and no more than 3 prior Cobb/Tyson Foods employments.

Responsabilidades

• Set up equipment for selection process and isolate birds into catch frames as instructed.
• Select birds, verify gender, weight, and color-coded wing bands; place birds in the market pen or coop as directed.
• Handle and move birds safely, maintain biosecurity, and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Assist with dissection tasks (as required) and ensure welfare guidelines are followed.
