Cobb-Vantress, LLC in Lafayette, TN, is hiring for a Poultry Farm Worker. The role offers day-to-day general labor across vaccination, blood collection, live hauls, sorting, and movement of Cobb products, with shift hours from 6:00am to 2:00pm, ~42 hours weekly, including holidays.

Starting pay is $18.45 per hour plus differential for evenings, nights, and weekends. Benefits on day one include health, dental, vision, disability, 401K, and tuition assistance, with opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps over 6 months in the past 36 months.
• If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the gap may increase to 18 months.
• Rehire rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.

Responsabilités

• Performs live hauls, vaccination, blood pull, movement, sorting and clean out of all Cobb products/facilities.
• Loads Cobb products into modules and onto the truck for transport to farms, other Cobb complexes or processing plant.
• Cleans and disinfects poultry houses, vehicles, modules, and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned; may include keeping work area clean and organized and adapting to production needs.
