Cobb Farms in Pocomoke, MD is hiring a Farm Attendant to care for birds in growout houses and support daily production. The role runs Mon-Fri, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with about 40 hours weekly and eligibility for benefits from day one.

You will feed and water birds, weigh and record data, and help maintain sanitation and safety in a biosecure facility. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with additional shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of consecutive work history with one employer
• No additional job gaps in employment >6 months in past 36 months
• Residents of United States only, eligible for interview

Responsibilities

• Attend to and care for birds in growout houses; inspect birds for quality and progress.
• Perform production paperwork and data entry in computer-based tracking systems.
• Feed and water birds according to schedules and monitor water lines, mortality, and health.
• Move birds between pens and growout houses as needed; assist with line management and sanitation.
• Weigh birds weekly and record weights; assist with vaccination and disease control programs.
