Job summary

Cobb Three Springs Farm is seeking a Brooder House Worker to care for chicks, monitor environmental conditions, and support production schedules. The role is a full-time position with a Monday–Friday and rotating weekend schedule in a bio-secure farm setting.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour plus additional shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, and education programs, with eligibility on day one of full-time hire.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
• If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months.
• Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Feeds and waters birds according to schedules; monitors temperature, lights and adjusts as instructed.
• Walks floors daily; examines birds for signs of illness and treats according to instructions; handles mortality and incineration.
