Job summary

Cobb is hiring for a Poultry Farm Worker Ops Lead in Pocomoke, Maryland. The role supports the Supervisor in coordinating daily department duties, ensuring instructions are conveyed to the team and carried out timely.

You will monitor equipment, report maintenance needs, and help maintain a safe work environment in line with Tyson policies. Responsibilities include vaccinating birds, moving birds to designated houses, setting up housing, and handling PPE and biosecurity protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: Must be able to read, write and have simple math skills.

Responsibilities

• Vaccinate and move birds as required to feed conversion houses, growing houses, laying houses or live haul loading area.
• Set-up of poultry houses including cages, shavings, and spraying of pesticides.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and vehicles used in moving birds, supplies or equipment on the farm.
• Performs simple math as part of recording information (bird weight, medications, feed intake, mortality).
• Wash and dry laundry daily as per schedule by Manager.
