Job summary

Aviagen is seeking a Customer Quality Representative to support placements of day-old parent stock chicks across the assigned region. You will collaborate with Quality, Sales & Technical teams and Hatchery management to ensure chick quality and provide strong customer support.

The role requires travel up to 70% within TX, OK, AR and occasional placements in other regions. A BS in Poultry Science or related field and knowledge of hatchery operations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Poultry Science or related field.
• Knowledge of hatchery operations or the poultry industry.
• Strong computer skills including Excel (Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer placements within assigned area (TX, OK, AR).
• Provide quality assurance support at customer placements.
• Communicate with Hatchery management and Technical managers regarding placement and chick quality observations.
• Develop good working relationships with all customers and Aviagen Teams.
• Write detailed trip reports after each placement.
• Willing to travel up to 70% in assigned area; (TX, OK, AR) and occasionally attend placements in other regions.
