Job summary

Cobb Sweetwater Farm in Rose, OK is seeking a Brooder House Worker Team Member to assist with supervising, training, and caring for birds in brooding. The role emphasises attendance discipline and safety, including respirator certification and DOT vehicle certification where applicable.

Starting pay is $21.20 per hour with additional shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Benefits begin on day one, including health, dental, vision, 401(k) and life insurance, plus education

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no gaps >6 months in past 36 months.
• Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days.
• Rehire Rule: no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.
• Respirator certification required and maintained annually.

Responsibilities

• Adjusts controls to regulate temperature in chicken houses.
• Examines birds for signs of illness and treats according to guidelines.
• Supervises feeding, watering, and records bird data.
• Cleans/disinfects waterers and pens; repairs pens and equipment.
• Supervise hatch days and assist with R&D days and university plant activities.
• Operate farm vehicle and transport eggs/chicks; pass DOT certification.
