Job summary

Willmar Poultry Farms is seeking a full-time Poult Scheduler to coordinate poult placements from hatchery to farms, ensuring timely deliveries and strong communication with growers and hatchery personnel. The role supports production planning by managing schedules, adjusting orders to hatch numbers, and maintaining updated placement plans.

The ideal candidate will have poultry operations experience, familiarity with Excel and M-Tech (Amino), and solid organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in poultry production, live operations, scheduling, logistics, or production planning preferred.
• Experience in hatchery operations is required.
• Understanding of transportation logistics.
• Familiarity with Excel and M-Tech (Amino).
• Knowledge of biosecurity and animal welfare protocols.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate poult placements from hatchery to farms and maintain timely schedules.
• Communicate placement details and changes to growers and hatchery staff.
• Balance weekly LH/HH ratios per plant requests.
• Update long-range poult plans based on hatch results and delays.
• Coordinate regulatory activities during AI times and maintain compliance.
• Build positive relationships with growers and provide operational insights.
