Job summary

Prestage Farms is seeking a Poult Room Technician to join the poultry processing team, supporting the health and well-being of newly hatched poults. You will work with other associates to perform essential duties and ensure standards of poultry husbandry are met.

Responsibilities

• Performs poult servicing tasks including debeaking, toe nail trimming, and dewclaw removal per poultry husbandry standards.
• Carries out activities related to poult servicing and processing to increase efficiency.
• Works with hatchery associates to maintain high processing room standards.
• Work independently and exercise discretion
• Explain policies and procedures and maintain safety compliance
