Job summary

Willmar Poultry Farms in Willmar, MN seeks a full-time Poult Scheduler to coordinate poult placements from hatchery to farms and to align poults with production needs. You will work closely with growers, hatchery staff, transportation teams and management to keep schedules accurate and timely.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in poultry production, live operations, scheduling, logistics, or production planning preferred.
• Experience in day-to-day hatchery operations is required.
• Understanding of transportation logistics.
• Familiarity with Excel and M-Tech (Amino).
• Knowledge of biosecurity and animal welfare protocols and industry regulations.
• Knowledge of turkey egg and poult handling procedures.
• Knowledge of poultry production practices and hatchery operations.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate poult placements from hatchery to farms.
• Manage poult placement schedules and communicate with growers.
• Adjust daily poult placement orders based on hatch numbers.
• Serve as primary contact for growers regarding poult placements.
• Communicate placement details to growers (dates, numbers, services).
• Provide updated schedules when hatch results require changes.
• Balance LH/HH ratios weekly based on plant requests.
• Communicate daily with hatchery, growers, drivers, and management.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and develop mitigation plans.
