Golden State Foods is seeking a Cup Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM). The role emphasizes safe and efficient operation of packaging equipment, routine changeovers, and data recording to ensure quality and compliance with food safety standards.

You will support 12-hour shifts, handle packaging setups, perform minor troubleshooting, and maintain logs. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and 1–3 months manufacturing exposure; willingness to work weekends/holidays is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months manufacturing experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Operate 6+ packaging systems (W25-1/2, Cryovac, L24, BIB, 12-up, 6-up fillers).
• Load film carts and rolls correctly; monitor and adjust for continuous operation.
• Select appropriate packaging materials (boxes, labels, date coding).
• Adjust machine settings to maintain target product weights.
• Execute standard changeovers with team members to limit downtime.
• Perform minor mechanical troubleshooting independently.
• Document production data (inspection logs, downtime records, metal detection results).
• Clean, rinse, sanitize equipment using COP and CIP methods.
• Follow all safety protocols including lockout/tagout; identify emergency stops and pinch points.
• Maintain compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
