Job summary

DO & CO AG in Des Plaines, IL, is seeking a hard-working Potwasher to support our kitchen operations. You will wash and stack dishes, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to food safety standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

This full-time role offers daily meals, benefits, and opportunities to grow within our luxury global catering group. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage substantial workload.
• Proactive and organized.

• Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, pull or push as needed.

Responsibilities

• Washes/runs all dirty equipment (Pots, Pans, Plates, and cookware) through the dishwashing machine.
• Stacks and sorts clean equipment according to company specifications and moves all washed articles into the respective areas.
• Cleans drains and machines at end of shift and sanitizing work area as needed.
• Complies with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the Standard Sanitation Operational Procedures.
• Reports problems with the food safety management system to their supervisor and the hygiene and food safety team.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
