Job summary

DO & CO in Romulus invites applications for a full-time Dishwasher role. The position involves operating large dishwashing equipment, cleaning prep surfaces, and supporting supply movement within the kitchen.

You will work as part of a team to maintain sanitation and safety standards across shifts. Ideal candidates have at least one year of related experience, are self-organized, and can work independently or with others.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of related or equivalent experience.
• Initiative-driven and adept at self-organization.
• Proficient in both independent work and collaborative team environments.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and products.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
