Job summary

Piccadilly is seeking a dependable team member to support dishwashing and sanitation duties in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will clean, sanitize, and store pots, pans, and utensils while maintaining a clean kitchen area and supporting daily operations.

The role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Experience in a kitchen setting is helpful, and adherence to sanitation standards is essential for guest safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing or kitchen sanitation experience preferred.
• Ability to read labels and follow cleaning procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes all pots and pans prior to washing.
• Washes pots and pans by hand using prescribed amounts of soap and sanitizer. Ensures that all food, grease and residue are removed.
• Checks completed work for compliance with standards.
• Ensures items are air dried before storing. Stores in a neat fashion and rotates stock so all items are used regularly.
• Keeps pot and pan storage racks clean, including surrounding floors and walls.
• Exercises initiative in helping keep area clean and help keep trash off the floor and out of the kitchen as situation dictates.
• Assists with daily and weekly cleaning duties as assigned by the Restaurant Cleaning Program.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by a manager.
