Job summary

Parkhurst is seeking a dedicated kitchen cleaner responsible for maintaining cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, coolers, storage areas, and related spaces in accordance with Parkhurst standards and sanitary procedures.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, cleaning pots and pans, restocking supplies, following the cleaning schedule, assisting with catering deliveries, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen floors, coolers, dish, bakery, and service area floors swept and mopped.
• Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures and soak scrub stained cups weekly.
• Clean all pots, pans and trays using prescribed procedures.
• Keep pot sink area clean and uncluttered.
• Clean all kitchen equipment and shine stainless steel three times a week.
• Empty all trash cans and wipe dining room tables.
• Follow cleaning schedule and use clean as you go techniques.
• Assist with catering deliveries and pick-ups.
• Exercise caution and follow procedures when using chemicals.
