Job summary

Providence Swedish Issaquah is seeking a Nursing Unit Manager to provide overall leadership for a group of patient care units. You will oversee clinical and operational activities in alignment with our mission, vision and values, ensuring safe, high-quality care and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, staffing, budgeting, and implementing evidence-based practices that improve patient outcomes, staff engagement and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: BSN from an accredited school of nursing, or ADN and a commitment to obtain a BSN within two years of hire.
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 3 years of recent experience in a related clinical area of nursing.
• Must meet the criteria of a Registered Nurse.
• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• 1 year of first-line management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The manager is accountable for the overall management and leadership of a unit or a group of patient care units within Nursing Services.
• The manager is responsible for all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with Swedish Medical Center's mission, vision, and values.

Education

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
